This design project focuses on creating user-friendly interfaces that help property owners understand and engage with parametric insurance products. The goal is to demystify complex insurance concepts and make them accessible to everyday homeowners.

Design Challenge

Parametric insurance is fundamentally different from traditional insurance, which can create confusion for potential customers. The challenge was to design an experience that clearly communicates how parametric insurance works, what triggers payouts, and how it can benefit property owners in high-risk areas.

Approach

Through iterative design and user testing, we developed visual metaphors and interactive elements that help users understand the relationship between weather events, triggers, and payouts. The design emphasizes transparency and builds trust through clear communication.
